Research / Publications

CMMAP ("Center for Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction")
To understand and predict the responce of coastal-margins to human and climate influenses

CMOP
( "Center for Coastal Margin Observation and Prediction")
To understand and predict the responce of coastal-margins to human and climate influenses

CLIPS
("Center for Layered Polymeric Systems")

Forced assembly”, the ENABLING TECHNOLOGY of the CLiPS STC, allows for the layering of two polymers using layer multiplication coextrusion techniques.

CMORE
("Center for Microbial Oceanography: Research and Education")
Microbial Oceanography is the scientific discipline concerned with the biology and ecology of microorganisms that inhabit the sea.

TRUST
("Team of Research in Ubiquitous Secure Technology")
The Team for Research in Ubiquitous Secure Technology (TRUST) will be devoted to the development of a new science and technology that will radically transform the ability of organizations (software vendors, operators, local and federal agencies) to design, build, and operate trustworthy information systems for our critical infrastructure.

CRESIS
("Center for Remote Sensing for Ice Sheets")

CReSIS is developing sophisticated sensors and long-duration unpiloted airborne vehicles (UAVs) and surface-based rovers to carry them. New ice sheet models that better simulate observed ice sheet behavior are also being developed. Radar and seismic mapping of rapidly changing glacier zones will be conducted, and these measurements will be incorporated into the new ice sheet models to provide highly accurate estimates of ice sheet contributions to sea level rise.
